Introduction to Tennis
If you're looking for year-round action, few sports can match the pace and intensity of tennis. With tournaments running almost every week of the year—including four high-profile Grand Slams like Wimbledon, the US Open, Roland Garros, and the Australian Open—tennis offers non-stop competition on a global stage.
The game is played on three primary surfaces: grass, hard, and clay.
Each surface significantly impacts playing style and match outcomes, favouring different types of players and strategies.
Court Surfaces and Playing Styles
Tennis is one of the few sports where the playing surface plays a major role in the outcome of matches.
Each surface brings its own pace and bounce characteristics:
Grass – The fastest surface, producing low bounces and quick points.
Favours aggressive, attacking players with strong serve-and-volley skills.
Wimbledon is the most famous grass-court event.
Clay – The slowest surface, where the ball bounces higher and rallies tend to last longer. Ideal for baseline grinders and players with high endurance.
The French Open is the premier clay-court tournament.
Hard Courts – A balanced surface that sits between grass and clay in terms of speed and bounce. It offers a fair playing field for all-around players.
The US Open and Australian Open are played on hard courts.
Tours, Rankings, ITF & Challenger Events
Tennis is built around a tiered structure of tournaments, each impacting player rankings:
ATP & WTA Tours – These are the main professional circuits for men and women, respectively.
Players earn ranking points based on their performance, with the top-ranked players entering Grand Slams and Masters-level events.
Challenger Tour – A level below the ATP/WTA main tour, the Challenger circuit is where rising stars, players returning from injury, or those ranked outside the top 100 compete to gain valuable points and experience.
ITF (International Tennis Federation) – This is the entry-level tier of professional tennis.
ITF events include Futures tournaments and junior competitions. These are often the first step for young or unranked players beginning their professional careers.
As players perform well at ITF events, they move up to Challengers and eventually to ATP/WTA-level tournaments.
The ranking system is dynamic and updated weekly, rewarding consistent performance and encouraging upward mobility.
Sorry, I know that is a lot to take in and it could be even worse.
People will often tell you...
"Understanding the unique characteristics of surfaces, ranking systems, player styles, and tournament formats is key to mastering the nuances of the sport—whether you're watching, betting, or looking to gain a strategic edge."
They would be right except there are simpler ways of getting an edge in Tennis.
- It doesn't have to be frantic while watching each game.
- You don't need any stats about a player except one simple one that you can get just about anywhere.
- You can use it on two out of three ground types and one of those is Grass, which is great if you like Wimbledon.
- This method works on both WTA and ATP, but we tend to use it more on WTA because the prices can be better.
- You can quickly pre-plan what matches you are interested in, or wait for a specific time in-play to choose your matches.
But I am getting ahead of myself a little, let's dig a bit deeper and see what this is all about.
Firstly, in case you don't know, my name is Malcolm and I am probably what people call a "Number Cruncher" or "Statistics Bod"...
...Yeah, I like data and I like to analyse numbers and not to be too modest, I am pretty good at crafting prompts to get the best from AI.
Dare I say I am an ok programmer as well and have created a great number of products like PR Ratings, The Greyhorse Bot, TTS, Over/Under X Goal software...
...All to help punters like you, try and make some profit.
Secondly, I like to test.
Whether it is a long-term bot test or a daily "Make some profit" strategy, it's something I like to do and I am lucky enough to do it nearly every day of the week.
Tennis is not my main sport (That's horse racing), but I do have a fascination for it and spent some time crunching numbers.
It was while delving deep into Tennis statistics that I found this strategy.
As I looked deeper and deeper, I found I could get the strike rate up to over 90%+.
And the great thing was it didn't take hours of research or trawling from one website to another to get the information.
The strategy uses 3 pieces of information.
1) The tournament surface
2) The player's ranking
3) A specific time in the match.
So if you like simple strategies, then you are in the right place.
The thing is, I don't know you personally, so I have to make some assumptions about what you are trying to achieve.
How much do you want to make per day?
When I surveyed my list of 10,000 readers, the average monthly profit that they wanted to achieve was 30 points.
Now that doesn't mean a lot, but reading between the lines, I guess most people would be happy with somewhere between £5 and £50 a day (some more).
That equates to £150 to help pay some bills or save for a yearly holiday or up to £1500 a month to really help out.
Of course, a lot will depend on your bank (The money you can afford to lose) and how big your stakes are to start.
Well, I reckon with this method you could make 1 point a day with the amount of Tennis available.
I don't want to lie to you. We are not backing high-priced outsiders, but we can still often make 1 point per match or make that amount over two or three wins...
...Using an Acca makes this even more probable.
Do you have the time?
One of the complaints I see often is "I don't have the time".
There is no doubt, if you have to work or you have family commitments, then finding time to play the markets is not easy.
Tennis tends to be an all-day event, and you can often find matches late at night, especially when a tournament is being played in another time zone.
So it is likely that no matter what time of day, you could find some match to look at.
Can you run the strategy?
Really, this is such an easy method to run. You can choose to check out matches before they start or once they are in play.
Although you can run this strategy with a normal bookie, personally I think it would be better with an exchange like Betfair.
Let's face it, no strategies go right 100% of the time, so at least if you are on an exchange, you have the option of limiting your liability by simply using the "Cash Out" button.
Apart from that, it is an easy 3-step system.
1) Check the tournament (What surface are they playing on).
2) Check the rank of the players and see if they meet the criteria.
3) Wait for the exact time in the game to place your bets (I give alternatives to this as well).
I really do think anyone can run this strategy once they have learned it.
How quickly can I start making money?
Unless I want my "nuts" pinned up against a wall (The gambling commission), I can not promise you anything when it comes to how much you can make and when you can make it.
Personally, I made a profit on the first game I tried it on...
...At the moment, I am watching one of the Wimbledon first-round matches and even though my selection didn't win the first set, I could still trade out for a profit (If I wanted to).
If my selection wins the match, in that case I will win around 50% of my stake.
If you could pull two of those off per day, then that's your 1 point profit.
Once you open and read the strategy guide, you should, within 10 minutes, be in a position to start using it.
You can either check the ranks of the players at the site I mention in the guide...
...Or use the links I specifically created for you to get the ranks (insert the names of both players) ...
...Or just go to the official sites and download the current rankings PDF's(updated weekly)...
...Or use the AI prompt I have provided not only to give you the rankings of the players but also an insight of the likely winner of the match and why.
Then you can go to Betfair (or whatever site you prefer to use) and find a match that meets the rest of the criteria.
More choices.
This strategy is based on "Backing" but to make this strategy more interesting, I have added some extra ways you can use it based on the match and what you see.
1) Split-Stake: The strategy is so strong that you could break up your stake and place half at the beginning of the match and then the other half at the proper entry point.
If something does go wrong, you can trade out with less than 50% of your stake lost, but if it goes as we expect, then you can increase your overall profit.
2) Back to Lay: You could swap the strategy to lay if certain circumstances arise, or if you would prefer to make 1 point if the match goes according to plan (lays always return 1 point -commission).
3) Accumulator: You could run an Acca (Fully explained) over a number of matches, increasing your overall profit.
4) Trade: There are always opportunities to trade either for profit or to limit losses.
So here is what you get if you order today.
* The complete strategy, including the statistics that led me to this method.
Although the main method is simple, I wanted to back it up with a lot of information so that you can delve deeper into the main idea if you want to.
* An AI prompt to get you the information you need quickly.
* A link to quickly look up the ranks of players (plus links to other helpful information).
* Alternative ways of using the same method (Could make more profit), this includes double betting strategies, laying and even using Accas (Accumulators).
* Strategy Video.
If you are a regular customer of mine, you know I tend to charge between £67 and £97 for my strategies, especially when they have AI Prompts and special software (The rank look-ups) included in the package.
Don't forget the system is this easy...
1) Check the tournament (What surface are they playing on).
2) Check the rank of the players and see if they meet the criteria (I give you a quick way of of doing this).
3) Wait for the exact time in the game to place your bets (I give alternatives to this as well).
Since tennis is not my main sport, and I am still working on building my own wins, so I decided to price it at just £67.
There is an immediate download after payment...
...And as there are Tennis tournaments nearly every day of the week, you should be able to start using it straight away!
